Drafting and Planning: Blue Effect

After receiving feedback on my use of effects from my target audience, I decided to act on the criticisms and make the blue less obvious.

I decided to make the blue lighter so that it was more subtle, and used these settings to do so:

I like this blue more than the last as it isn't so strong, and so can show the weakness of their relationship now and has a sadder connotation to it.

  1. I think this blue is much more suitable compared to the last one as it is more subtle and is not too 'in your face'. I understand that it sets a tone of sadness or uncertainty and weakness in the relationship but its not too obvious and I can still focus on the footsge itself beyond the colour. This colour is really pretty too such a pretty blueee :)

  2. I think this blue effect looks much more better and professional and still fits in the message of your video!

  3. This blue is such an improvement from the last one! This one's much more subtle but still obvious enough to give it's message to the audience that the relationship isn't as it once was. Especially since in previous shots in the music video, there isn't really any colour filter so this blue doesn't smack you in the face like it did previously :D

  4. This blue is much more effective, especially with the greyish tones it has within it gives it a much more sombre feel. It really looks like the colour from the video you referenced as well!
